Wim Hof Breathing

Been to a Truva workshop? This page is for you. Keep the method going at home with the guide below and the video sessions, at your own pace. A few minutes a day is enough.

Practice safely. Always practise sitting or lying down, never in water, in the shower, while driving or standing up. Breath retention can cause dizziness. Do not practise if you are pregnant or have a heart condition without first consulting your doctor.
· the technique

How it works

01 · one round

30–40 breaths

Breathe in deeply through the nose or mouth and let the breath out in a relaxed way, without forcing it. A wave, not an effort.

02 · the hold

Retention

After the last exhale, hold with no air in your lungs, relaxed. No strain. You wait until you feel the need to breathe.

03 · recover

Recovery breath

Breathe in deeply and hold for 15 seconds. Then release. Repeat the cycle 3 times.

· guided sessions
